ABOUT US

                                          SHORT HISTORY

Carlos P. Garcia High School (CPGHS) in Cubao, Quezon City, was established in School Year 1965–1966 as an annex of Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School toaddress the growing enrollment of students in the district. At that time, classes were held in a rented building along Ermin Garcia Street, providing access to secondary education for youth in Cubao and nearby communities.

After several years of development, the school was formally separated from its mother school. On September 22, 1971, it was officially named Carlos P. Garcia High School in honor of the late Philippine President Carlos P. Garcia. On January 29, 1972, the school was officially declared independent, and it has, until now, continued its mission of providing quality, accessible education while upholding the legacy of its namesake.
